The Oyster Inn is open for food Monday to Saturday from 10.30am until 10.00pm and on Sunday from 12.00pm until last orders at 10.00pm.
The Menu offers a mouth-watering variety of fish dishes. Sample the regions natural oysters, baked oysters or oysters Florentine, poached on a bed of spinach with a cheese sauce. Other fish favourites include Clarenbridge mussels, fresh from the coastline and grilled with garlic and breadcrumbs.
Try the Galway Bay chowder, made from catch of the day, and hot smoked mackerel, warm seafood salad, or smoked trout with creamed horseradish. Irish salmon, king prawns, scampi, prawns, crab claws, mussels, cod, trout and plaice are also popular while alternative specialities include deep fried camembert with a port and redcurrant sauce or delicious duckling, pasta or beef dishes.
Recommended in the Egon Ronay Guide in 1995, 1996, and 1997, Paddy Burkes Oyster Inn is a cosy atmospheric pub and restauant.
